Pei H. Nie, MD
Dr. Nie has practiced in most, if not all, possible settings, including: inpatient, outpatient, consultation-liaison, nursing homes, forensics, home visits, and telemedicine. She has steered the development of and improved the quality of multiple behavioral health programs in a variety of care delivery models. Dr. Nie is also a faculty attending physician at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine residency training program.
On the subjects of neurocognitive disorders and women in healthcare, she has published in two academic textbooks and is a public speaker for educational events in the community and has lectured at CME-accredited conferences. Dr. Nie obtained her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and contributed to research work related to psychosomatic medicine. She completed her internship and general psychiatry residency also at Emory University School of Medicine where she was Chief Resident at Emory University Hospital. Her Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship was completed at University of California San Francisco, UCSF.Education:
